Vekta Group was pleased to be working with Offshore Wind Consultants on the completion of a wide variety of employers requirements for a global offshore wind developer who are currently developing an offshore wind farm in Vietnam. The primary scope of work for Vekta Group has been the electrical and SCADA sections of the employers requirements.
Scope of work included various core activities in line with the client needs:
- Drafting of the onshore substation employer requirements including interface to the local grid provider
- Concept requirements of the SCADA and HV network control philosophy
- Project specific requirements for the electrical system and major components
- Electrical system design and testing and commissioning requirements
Having previously worked with OWC on an offshore wind farm in Taiwan, Vekta Group is keen to work on projects outside of the UK and Europe as we strive to support clients on a global level. Vekta Group’s scope was led by Charles Balderston and Associate Consultant Ian Johnson.
